Ice Dues

Ice Dues are calculated by our Treasurer, Bob Baxter, on the basis of the number of games the member has declared they will play in the course of the season and as listed above. Invoices for the TOTAL amount, which also include subscriptions, are sent out at the start of the season. No further moneys are payable throughout the season other than if participating in “external competitions”.

It is the individual member’s sole responsibility to arrange a substitute if he/ she cannot play on an arranged date. A substitute can either be a member not playing on the evening or from the list below the particular competition listing. The substitute MUST be arranged in plenty of time and, as a courtesy, the member MUST then inform his skip, particularly if a substitute cannot be found. For our newer members it is suggested they may wish to contact their skip in the first instance to get advice.

The custom of the club is that the Substitute plays at the requesting member’s expense. The substitute does not have to pay ice dues nor is there any obligation to “swap” dates. “subscriptions” are the Club’s own and RCCC.

IF YOU DO NOT TURN UP FOR A MATCH, AND NO SUBSTITUTE HAS BEEN ARRANGED,
